The day-long workshop will be comprised of a field trip to Bent Creek and the neighboring Blue Ridge Parkway. Students should dress comfortably for short walks and bring a hand lens and writing materials. The class fulfills six hours of elective credit for the Blue Ridge Naturalist Certificate.
