Meditative Morning Birding Walk in the Arboretum Forest

The quiet of the Arboretum's Monthly Meditative Morning makes for a wonderful way to listen for bird song. This walk takes you to some of the best spots to enjoy birding in our gardens and forest. Bring your binoculars and walk along with one of our expert Adult Education Instructors from Ventures Birding Tours. Open to beginning and experienced birders alike.
Aaron Steed has been interested in birds and natural history his entire life. Originally from Wilmington, N.C., Aaron holds a B.S. in General Biology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and has worked numerous ornithological field positions in North Carolina, Texas, Kansas, California and Arizona, focusing primarily on endangered or imperiled species (such as the Black-capped Vireo and Lesser Prairie-Chicken). He currently leads classes in the field and online for Ventures Birding Tours and for the Arboretum.

- Registration for this class will close two days before the class start date.
