Aquatic Adventures 4

Discover the diversity of aquatic life in our natural environment. Explore aquatic wonders on creek walks, pond investigations, a salamander safari, and a trip to Lake Powhatan. Learn to use kick nets and dip nets to capture and observe a variety of life; and most importantly, learn how to protect our amazing aquatic habitats.
We are incorporating rigorous safety protocols regarding COVID-19 as recommended by health professionals as well as input from families that completed our survey.
- All classes will be limited to 8 students and be co-instructed by a minimum of two staff.
- Masks will be required of all staff and participants when within six feet of someone outside of their household both indoors and outdoors.
- Rigorous sanitation protocols for equipment will be followed.
- Children will receive health checks upon arrival.
- Brief restroom/indoor breaks of less than 15 minutes will occur.
