Learn the basics of wet-felting, wet materials, and fibers to use in creating felted fabric. Learn how to add embellishments to create abstract or realistic designs. In this class, you will make two pieces of wet-felted fabric, approximately 9x12 inches each. You will be able to take that fabric with you and turn it into a small purse, phone pouch, or bag of your own choosing. The instructor will have felted samples to help you visualize possibilities. Materials are included.
Rose Szabo has enjoyed the many aspects of felting for the past 13 years. From simple wet felted beads to complex nuno felted garments, she enjoys experimenting with new techniques. Rose has a passion for felting and would like to share that with others.
